Hip hop helps children build self-esteem and confidence, learn discipline and have an effective workout while having fun. The dance moves and routines help children develop coordination and strength.

Learners can attend beginner, intermediate or advanced classes in line with their ability. We also prepare learners for exams and competitions.

If your child would like to dance and your school does not offer hip hop as an extra mural, please let us know. We will gladly follow up with the school and find a suitable date and time.

WE ALSO OFFER TEAM BUILDING WITH A DIFFERENCE

Dance is an excellent team building activity, and it’s easy to learn the basic hip hop moves!

Dance can improve the dynamics that exist within a department, team or group of individuals. It encourages collaboration among colleagues and therefore enhances teamwork. Hip hop is an ideal dance style to do this.

Hip hop allows individuals’ personalities to be seen through the way they move on their own and in a group. As individuals are encouraged to move out of their comfort zone, they build trust with their colleagues. This builds staff morale while everyone has fun.

We tailor our team building intervention around your needs. Please contact us to find out more.

WHAT OUR DANCERS / PARENTS SAY

My daughter has been with Step Into Dance since she was 3 years old. Fast forward 3 years, and Amra refused to take dance with anyone but Heather and Andrea of Step into Dance. Their passion and love for what they do and for children are evident in how much fun the kids have. I love watching them teach and I especially love seeing the excitement my daughter has once she leaves the class. I wish I can say her dance ends when she ends class, but all week she’s moving around the house and she’s always geared up and excited for Saturday to arrive. I love their child-friendly environment and approach to how they teach the kids. Well done guys! Here’s to many more years together.
